God’s answer:

On the stick is written the word Forgiveness.
The candy portion is the Holy Eucharist and Chalice.
Question: If we are already saved, then why are we still the way we are? Why do we still sin? Why is the world still what it is? Why are we, our life and our world still imperfect? Why do we still suffer and cause suffering? Why is there still evil in this world?
God’s answer:
Meaning: Salvation is a journey that everyone will take. No matter how evil one has become, one will never die because of sin. Everyone will, at one point, take this journey.
God calls this Path of Salvation, The Way of the Cross. It is the process whereby God saves/frees us from our sins, and all that the sins of others and the sins of the world have done to us.
This is how He gives each and everyone His power over death by defeating death for us. This is how He absolves us so we no longer have to suffer the consequences of sin. This is how we gain back what true life is.
